An intention is a mental state in which a person commits themselves to a course of action. An Intention Bottle (or jar) then, is a receptacle housing the written intention, along with energy-activating items, either related to the intention or as general sources of energy manifestation. It can be kept on your person, in your backpack, hanging from your rear-view mirror, or any place that you might happen to see it and focus your own energy on the intention inside.
Letting the Universe know ahead of time what you intend can go a long way to bringing it about. The universal energies and our own are often in misalignment. Sometimes we intend things that can never come to fruition — but generally, if we set our mind to it, we can follow-through with our best intentions. Writing an intention down and keeping it close, or under our pillow at night, or planting it in our house-plants/gardens, can help our intention to literally blossom within us.
Here at Casstastrophe, we’ve taken those written intentions one step further and created small keepsakes for you to help the magic of your intention come to life. By adding various crystals, and items of the four elements, these jars become talisman of action.
I’d love the opportunity to create an Intention Bottle with you. I am offering 30 minute Discovery Sessions as a means of getting to know you and your intention, and then with your input and my intuition, I will craft a bottle that works for you.
Below are pictured the items you can choose from to add to your jar, you may choose a few or all — and I may suggest specific items based on our conversation. Once the jar is complete, it will be sealed, and shipped or delivered locally to you. Calling on the Four Elements of Earth, Air, Water, and Fire which correspond to the Four Directions; bringing in crystals aligned with the Seven Major Chakras, and adding a Scroll of Intention; this jar will assist you in any intention you desire.
Whether you choose to fill your bottle with many different, or many similar items, let your intuition guide you. I will make suggestions, but the ultimate make-up is your decision.
Using an item based on it’s meaning is one way to choose items — but it’s just as valid to choose because the colour reminds you of your favourite toy or your partner’s eyes.
The great thing about intentions is, we can have them for other people, too! I have many intentions for my son and my partner, for my mother, and even my co-workers. While gifting a complete intention bottle is certainly something you can do, why not gift the whole experience — purchase a bottle for a friend and you can have them set up a 30 minute Discovery Session with me, for us to create it together.
Or maybe you want to do this as a couple, where you each create an intention bottle for the other party, maybe before a wedding to have something deeply meaningful to hold on to from that special day. There are so very many ways an intention bottle could find its way into your life. Click below and let’s get started!
Intention Bottles are something that are personal, private, and kept in secret — OR — they can be shared, and shown off and used publicly! The thing is, whichever way you choose to use them will be the right way for you. Sometimes having a private intention for yourself can add to the magic of the bottle. Will you touch it in your pocket when you’re worried, will you peak at it in your locker before an exam? … On the other hand, maybe you keep it on your desk at work, for all to see, and explain to anyone who asks how it helps you focus on your intention. Both of these options carry their own kind of magic and it is up to the individual to decide how to use their bottle.
And that brings us to — How do you USE your Intention Bottle?
As suggested above, you can keep it in many places, you could even string up the cozy and hang it from your rear-view mirror in the car, or wear it around your neck. I believe the options are fairly wide open. The best thing you can do with your Intention Bottle is interact with it as much as makes sense for you. If that’s looking at where you’ve placed it at least once a day, great. If that’s touching it in your pocket or rattling it in your hand as a fidget toy, that’s great too. The bottle is a reminder of the intention inside. The intention is an active, living thing you wish to change or create within yourself. When you work with an Intention Bottle you are choosing to be a conscious creator of your own life.
The final question is, then — How much?
While it’s difficult to put a price on intentions, coming up with a price for the experience and finished product has been a real doozy. I’m just going to repeat it here, everything offered on Casstastrophe is also available on a sliding scale, just send me an email and we can discuss the particulars. What you get: as many items as you’d like in your Intention Bottle, a bottle cozy, with taxes and shipping included, for just $49.99
